The Hydrophobic Membrane Screen is for the 8188 IP Ceiling Speaker, 8189 IP Surface Mount Speaker, & 8198 IP PoE+ Ceiling Speaker ceiling speakers. The membrane allows placement of the speaker in areas subject to moisture (e.g. shower). It does not permit use of the speaker outdoors.
